On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Robert A. Sallmen, Jr., a former resident of Cumming, Georgia and a loving son, brother and uncle, passed away at the age of 49.
Robert, also known as Brother Bob, Bob, Rob, or Bobby, was born in New Castle, Pa. the son of Robert A. Sallmen, Sr. and Agnes K. Watson-Flick.
After graduating from Wilmington Area High School, he received his Associate Degree from ICM School of Business in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a dedicated employee at Ceridian for 30 years.
Robert, Jr. had a passion for golfing, watching sports, loving friends and family. He also enjoyed his coffee and keeping his lawn in immaculate condition. He was known for his hugs, his kind and compassionate spirit.
Robert, Jr. is survived by his father, Robert A. Sallmen, Sr (Cindy). and his mother, Agnes Flick . He is survived by his sisters Janette Sallmen and Betty Jo Sallmen (Dan Kosco) and nephews Ryan and Bradley Wiant, Step-sisters Kelly (James) Learn and Kim (Timothy) Learn and their six
daughters, his nieces, and five great- nieces and nephews. Preceded in death is his cousin Jeremy Sallmen, his aunts Gert Volpe, Evelyn Gorman, and Barb Redline and his uncle Dennis Sallmen A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Whisper Hollow Homestead on 159 Estate Lane, Enon Valley, PA 16120 at 2:00 PM—4:00 PM. Family members and close friends are welcome to join us. Social distancing needs to be practiced. Masks are recommended but not required. There is a limit of 250 people to be in the building. In lieu of flowers donations can be given toward a scholarship specializing in computer technology or to the family in honor of Robert A. Sallmen, Jr.
