Ricky James Pugh, 74, of Cumming Georgia, peacefully passed away on May 6, 2022 surrounded by loved ones after a long and difficult battle with dementia.Ricky was born on March 31, 1948 to Minor and Louise Pugh in Tucker, Georgia.After Ricky graduated high school, he served 4 years in the United States Navy. Ricky was a Vietnam War veteran.After leaving the military, he worked as a fabrication specialist for over 40 years. Ricky was passionate about fabrication and loved what he did for a living. He was also a member of the Lafayette Masonic Lodge #44.In 1967,he met Sharon, his loving wife. Ricky and Sharon went on to have 2 children, Angela and Christina.Ricky was predeceased by his father, Minor Pugh and hismother, Louise Pugh.He is survived by his wife Sharon Pugh, daughter and son in law Angie and Travis Sneed, daughter Christina Howard, grandsons Zachary Sneed, Preston Howard, and Adrian Sneed, granddaughter Sydney Howard, great grandsons Alexander Howard and Hunter Howard; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Family, friends, and others whose lives Ricky touched are invited to the visitation and services.Visitation is scheduled for May 18, 2022 at McDonald and Son's Funeral Home in Cumming Georgia from 5pm to 9pm.Funeral service is scheduled on May 19, 2022 at 11am at McDonald and Son’s Funeral Home, followed by interment at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Jimmy Samples will officiate
