Obituary

Paul Martin Kreager, 85, of Albany, GA, passed away on September 26, 2021.

Paul was born December 13, 1935, to Paul and Maribel Kreager in San Antonio, Texas. Later on in life, Paul developed a great passion as an Economic Developer for the University of Georgia. Paul also retired from IBM after 25 years in management and training. Paul also proudly served in the United States Army. Paul was married to the love of his life, Marcie Jackson, for 40 years. He was a loving husband and father and grandfather. Outside of work and family, Paul was very involved in his community. He was a former member of the Forsyth County Board of Education, a member of North Forsyth Rotary Club, a member of the Cumming Civitan Club and a member of Sawnee Optimist Club. Paul was also an active member in his church, Freedom Tabernacle Church. In his spare time, he loved to be outdoors, hunt and fish. He also loved anything mechanical, especially restoration of antique cars.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; Paul Theodre Kreager and Maribel Martin Kreager. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Marcie Kreager. He is also survived by his five children; Julie (Mike) Hannon of Tallahassee, FL, Michael (Ann) Kreager of Atlanta, GA, Amy (Scott) Gaylord of Crawfordville, FL, Kate Kreager of Albany, GA, and Betty (Jacob) Paschal of Albany, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Freedom Tabernacle Church at 5pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Pastor Robbie Mathis will be officiating and John Heard will be providing a special musical selection.
