Obituary
Marilyn McKeown Schiff (Mickey), age 96 of Cumming, GA died March 12, 2023 at home. Mickey was born on May, 30, 1926 and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She was happily married 51 years to Remley Kidd Schiff. Together they raised their two girls Judy and Sally in East Point, GA. They retired in Cumming, GA overlooking Lake Lanier.
Mickey was a vivacious, active woman, known for her matching hair bows. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and Gigi. Mickey volunteered over the years as Pink Lady, Women’s Club and USO. She was an accomplished seamstress and knitter. Mickey also was a member of a senior dance group that performed tap and jazz. She was active in Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters Judy Schiff and Sally Tidwell; grandchildren Shaun Tidwell and Kerrie (Michael) Lind; and great grandsons Sebastian, Remley and Callahan Lind.
A Memorial Mass for Mickey will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11:00 am followed by burial at Sawnee View Gardens.
