LYNN R. BOGGS

Cumming, Georgia— Lynn R. Boggs, a resident of the Whisper Point area, died Sunday the 7th of June at Northside Hospital Forsyth.
Born in 1946 in Jenkins, Kentucky, Lynn attended school in Pound, Virginia and George Washington School in Alexandria, Virginia.
Lynn became a homemaker in 1963 focused on making a wonderful life for her family. Lynn worked at Lawton’s Jewelers in Winter Park, Florida for a time. Lynn enjoyed genealogy searches and worked on Riddle and Boggs history for years. Lynn enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and playing the slots. Most of all, in retirement Lynn enjoyed visits from her beloved granddaughter.
Lynn loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and plays with friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ethel and Harold Riddle of Brandon, Florida as well as her sister Marlene Anderson (Charles), of Pound, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Boggs of Cumming, Georgia, son Bryan and his family Marianne and daughter Savannah, of Cumming, Georgia; son Scott Boggs, of Cumming, Georgia; two sisters – Sheila MacDougall (Robert) of Lakeland, Florida and Lana Doran (Leland) of Kingsport, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Lynn’s home cemetery in Powell Valley, Virginia.
