Obituary

Lois June Ellis (88) of Huntington, West Virginia was called to Heaven to be with the Lord on Monday, September 6, 2021. She was born in Wayne County, West Virginia on the 21st day of August 1933.

 

Mrs. Ellis attended Kellogg Holiness Church of God in Huntington and worked at The Pumpkin Patch, a children’s clothing store. She loved to spend her free time knitting and crocheting and always had time for her friends and family.

 

 She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years William “Bill” Ellis, parents Robert and Freda Billups, and brother John “Tony” Billups (Sue).

 

Mrs. Ellis is survived by her children that she adored very much Pam Blankenship (Bill) of Cumming, Georgia, Beckey Norris (Mike) of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Billy Ellis (Debbie Jackson) of Huntington, West Virginia. By her four grandchildren Amy Neil of McMurray, Pennsylvania, Michael Norris of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Ryan Norris (Caitlin) of Charleston, South Carolina, and Rob Ellis (Lindsey) of Huntington, West Virginia. Mrs. Ellis has three adorable great-grandchildren Logan Neil, Sawyer Ellis, and Calvin Ellis. 

 

She is also survived by her brother Bobby Billups (Tammy Fowler) of Charleston, West Virginia, niece Julie, nephews Tony and Michael, and cousins Sandy Petterson (Jim Davis) of Kenova, West Virginia, Sherry Houvouras of Huntington, West Virginia, and Linda Thompson (Jim) of Chesapeake, Ohio.

 

The Graveside service with Pastor Willie May will be held at Spring Valley Memory Gardens on Friday, September 10, 2021 starting at 1:00pm. 

 

 In place of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
