Laxmi Swamy Tipingiri

September 10, 1942 ~ February 9, 2021 (age 78)

Laxmi Swamy Tipingiri passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 9th, 2021. She lived to be the age of 78. Laxmi was a native of India and she lived most of her life in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Laxmi was a proud mother of 4 wonderful children and grandmother to 8 lovable grandchildren. She single handedly raised 4 children after she became a young widow early on in life. There were no challenges hard enough and no obstacles high enough that she could not overcome. Making sure her kids were clothed, their tummies fed and attended the best schools was her sole goal and drive in life. During her lifetime, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree and spent her career as a supervisor in Indian Railways. She loved her husband, children, family and friends.

Her children share the same sentiment with George Washington "My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her". Words cannot express the gratitude that her children feel towards her. Always there, always ready to wipe away tears, always ready to make everything better! How does one say goodbye to someone like her?

Laxmi has been a resident of Alpharetta, GA for the last three years. She was surrounded by her young grandkids who brought joy and laughter into her every day life. Daily she enjoyed her Bhopal radio station, listened to the news, sang along with the radio, read her hindi and telugu books, watched a movie, played with the children and made sure to always have enough rotis made to feed her son and grandkids. Always there, always helpful, always kind.

Laxmi is preceded in death by her husband Rama Swamy Tipingiri, her son Manoj Tipingiri and both of her parents Govind and Venkat Mudamsetty. She is survived by her 3 loving children and 8 adoring grandchildren. She will be missed by many.
