Laura Leslie Stuler, 47, of Cumming, Georgia lost her 3 ½ year battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021.
Laura was a wife, mother, sister, teacher, runner, adventurer and friend to many. Laura was born and raised in Hickory Flat, GA and still has many friends and family in that area. She lived her life with a commitment to finding “joy”, not just a feeling of joy but a commitment to choosing it regardless of her circumstances. She held a deep Christian faith that has helped her find joy in the midst of her battles. Her life was as good as any sermon ever preached. She was more than just a teacher of math at West Forsyth High School, she was a life-teacher that taught us all how to live with a joy that could only come from a heart for the Lord. She loved her job at West Forsyth and loved all the students that she had the privilege to teach over the years. They were her mission field in life.
Laura and her family are long-time members of First Redeemer Church in Cumming, GA and are involved in many of the ministries there.
Laura is preceded in death by her mother; Lynda Lacy Leslie.
She is survived by her husband; Wayne Stuler, sons Daniel and Andrew, of Cumming, Georgia.
