Obituary

Kathleen “Kay” Patricia Fitzgerald Noxon, of Cumming, Georgia, passed into eternity on May 27, 2022. Kay was born in Troy, New York on November 3, 1935 to Thomas Fitzgerald and Catherine Flynn who were both born and raised in Ireland. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles William Noxon, and youngest son, William “Bill” Noxon.  She is also preceded in death by her parents and Sister, Doris Whitelaw. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Pinson, of Cumming, Georgia, son, Casey Noxon, of Austin, Texas, sister Mary Anne Lanni of Guilderland, New York, as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Kay was raised in Watervliet, New York. She moved to Texas as a young mother, living primarily in Kingwood, Texas. Her passions included travel, cooking and theater. She traveled extensively and even spent many years as a travel agent. She once attended Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris, France and enjoyed sharing her gift in the kitchen, hosting gatherings and cooking for family and friends.  She also spent many years as a producer of theater productions. She passed along her passion for theater to her children and grandchildren, and had season tickets to various theaters throughout her lifetime. She was a friend to many and enjoyed life thoroughly. Having a quick wit, you could always expect to have fun with her. She was a founding member of the Cove Choraliers, where she became close to many of her lifelong friends. In addition, her Catholic faith was very important to her. She will be missed by many but we rejoice in her life eternal.
