Joseph Anthony Dillon, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

He was born on July 20, 1946 to Joseph A Dillon, Sr. and Alice P. Dillon. Joseph attended high school at Benedictine Military School in 1965 and graduated from the University of Georgia. He was a part of Georgia Military Institute (OCS) and Georgia Army National Guard (Lt.). Joseph owed his own business Dillon Bonding Company and also was part of the State of Georgia Agricultural Department and various other career experiences.

Joseph is survived by his son Edward S. Dillon (Rachael) and his siblings Patricia D. Thompson, Helen D. Jensen (Ronald), and Suzanne D. Connell (Keith). He has three grandchildren Robert Burton Dillon, Ella Louise Dillon, and Rachael Elizabeth Dillon and five nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Alice P. Dillon, father Joseph A. Dillon, Sr., and brother Timothy Dillon.

Joe was a good friend. I regret that I wasn’t able to connect with him over the years. May God receive Joe in his loving arms and hope that we will see Joe again soon!

So very sorry.
Have so many wonderful memories of Joe during our time together at Cathedral and in high school! He taught me how to drive shift on his little Ford! One of my favorite cousins!!❤️
