American Veteran 01

John Papale

November 10, 1970 ~ August 23, 2021 (age 50)

John passed away suddenly on the morning of August 23rd to go to his eternal home.

John Otis Papale was born on November 10th, 1970 in Albany, NY, to Joseph and Bertha Papale.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Upon deployment, he met and married his wife, Gina Papale. They were married for 29 years and had two sons.

John is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Papale, Sr., and his brother, Anthony C. Papale.

He was a proud Italian! John had a larger-than-life personality and you could hear his amazing laugh a mile away.

He loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker, and a wonderful husband and father. If a relative, friend, neighbor, or complete stranger ever needed help, John would be right there to lend a hand.

John enjoyed watching his beloved Red Sox, tending to his garden and fig tree. He was the life of the party with a true zest for life. To know John was to love him.

He is survived by his loving soulmate of 29 years, Gina Papale; their two sons, Eriq and Anthony; his mother Bertha Papale; and his siblings Joseph Papale Jr.(Deborah), Anna Marie O'Neill, Tina Quigley (Paul), and Maria Lacette. He also leaves behind too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews to count.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
