Jennifer was born in Mansfield, Ohio on May 15,1978 to David Blake Berry and Susan Ann Davis. Jennifer married James Barnes of Hagerstown, Maryland on November 3, 2001 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her husband and their son Riley step mother Connie Watts. She also leaves behind 6 younger siblings: Richard Berry, Crystal Dudley, Jolica (Richard) Trongo, Blake Berry, James (Jennifer) Berry, and Megan Berry as well as 14 nieces and nephews.

Jennifer was a Veterinary Practice Manager for about 20 years where she focused on teaching her teams to provide compassionate, exceptional client service and veterinary care. She was very organized, attentive to details, and always looking for ways to improve - both professionally and personally. She was very fond of giving ‘projects’ to do to keep team members engaged in their work and productive. though, this usually created more projects for herself as well.
Her favorite thing was spending time with her husband and son – hiking, camping, watching movies, watching Riley play sports, and playing video and board games with her family. She also enjoyed being in nature and taking in the sights and sounds of the world around her. Reading and crafts such as knitting were her other hobbies. It should be obvious from her profession that she loved animals.
Jennifer’s favorite charity was Metavivor. Her favorite flower was stargazer lilies. *Important Note: if you have cats, do not take lilies home. Everything about them is fatally toxic to cats - pollen, flower, stem, leaves, even the water they’re in. Cats can die within 3 days from kidney failure if they ingest, or lick, anything to do with a true lily. Wash your hands if you touch one at the facility.
