Jeffery David Hipp, Attorney at Law and lifetime resident of Georgia died on February 20th, 2021 after a long struggle with the aftereffects of a stroke he had in late 2019. Jeff was 53 years old.
Jeff is survived by his brother-in-law and sister, Tom and Carrie Revering and his nephew David Revering and many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him.
Jeff was born in Macon, Georgia in September of 1967. His parents, David H. Hipp and Rosaline W. Adams settled in Roswell, Georgia when Jeff was incredibly young. Jeff grew up in Roswell, Georgia and graduated from Roswell High School in 1985. Jeff left Roswell to attend the University of Alabama. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from Alabama in 1990 and went on to get his Master of Laws Degree from New York University in 1997. He passed the Georgia Bar in 1997.
Jeff had a brilliant mind and was a wonderful conversationalist. He made friends everywhere he went. Jeff loved his friends, his schools and his sports. From the young days of playing on the Road Runners baseball team to growing up and coaching the same; his love for baseball was apparent to all. Jeff traveled to Omaha, Nebraska several times, particularly to watch his Alabama Crimson Tide play in the College World Series. He was a team player, role model and leader for many of the young men that he coached.
A celebration of Jeff’s life is scheduled for March 7th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the old Roswell Library in Historic Roswell [now known as the Roswell Historic Cottage]. The address is 972 Alpharetta St. Roswell; attire is casual.
