Obituary

George Edward August, age 60, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away April 20, 2022. George is survived by his brothers: Paul August of Mattapoisett, Ma, Tom August (Grace) of Philadelphia, Pa, Frank August of Albuquerque, NM, Michael August (Sandy) of White Hall, Pa, James August (Dio) of Annandale, NJ, Robert August of Tarpoon Springs, Fla, and Joe August (Victoria) of Milton, Ga; and sister Margaret of Englewood, Fla.

George graduated from Bergen Community College with multiple degrees and achieved and maintained multiple IT industry certifications while working as for Adapture Technology Group of Atlanta. When not working George enjoyed golfing, his Salt water aquarium, and boating on Lake Lanier. George also loved cooking, and any Fine Dining Experience here or abroad. George was also active member of Northside Church (Brown’s Bridge).

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at 10:00 am in the McDonald and Son Chapel.
