Cynthia Lee Sticker

Cynthia Lee Sticker of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, after a long fulfilling life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, entrepreneur, and true friend to many. She made an impact on those around her with her kindness, intelligence, and sense of humor. Her hobbies included travel, spending time with her family and interior design and reading. 

Cynthia was born on October 5, 1938, to the late William and Lillian Preble. 

In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband Robert Edward Sticker. They were married for 61 years before Robert passed in 2019. Cindy attended Kent State University, Ohio in 1956, after attending Mingo Junction High School. Cynthia and Bob were married in 1958 and began their family in Wintersville and Steubenville Ohio before moving to Alliance in 1968, where she began her career and entrepreneurship in the Travel industry and raised her family. The family relocated to Cumming, Georgia in 1988. 

Cynthia is survived by her four children: Robert Edward Sticker Jr., Michelle Lee Bennett, Melissa Ann Smith, and Brian Preble Sticker. She is survived by twelve grandchildren: Jefferson Bennett, Cassandra Sticker, Victoria Bennett, Kyle England, Samantha Alvord, Summer Boston, Curtis England, Grayson Smith, Madeline Lipham, Kaylee Sticker, Carly Sticker, and Noah Sticker. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is also survived by 10 great grandchildren: Kennedy Sticker, Elizabeth Bennett, August Bennett, Ridge Alvord, Elinor Bennett, Brooks Boston, Estella Smith, Delaney Jane Boston, Sterling Smith, and Emma Bennett. 

Her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew her, but her memory will be forever treasured.
