Hoschton, Georgia
Caroline Anne Chiacchira, age 16, of Hoschton, Georgia, was born on August 16, 2008, at Gwinnett Medical Center to Thomas and Christina Chiacchira. She passed away on July 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will never be forgotten.
Caroline was a dedicated student who received straight A’s and was known as someone who could achieve anything she set her mind to. She was currently studying through Liberty University Online Academy and previously attended Lanier Christian Academy and Hebron Christian Academy, where she developed her love of learning and athletics. A gifted volleyball player, Caroline shined on the court as an outside hitter, where her talent, drive, and team spirit made her a standout.
She was incredibly talented at everything she did —from volleyball to piano to puzzles to being the very best sister and friend. Caroline did everything with excellence and gave 100% of herself in all she pursued.
She loved her friends with all her heart. Caroline was the kind of friend everyone wants—thoughtful, generous, and fiercely loyal. Her friends meant so much to her and some of her very favorite memories were sleepovers, FaceTimes, and hangouts with them. She constantly gave gifts to the people she loved, often ones she had made herself. Her friends absolutely adored her, and so did her friends’ parents, who admired her joyful spirit, kindness, and character.
Caroline was one of the most forgiving people you could ever meet. She showed grace freely and never hesitated to love others deeply.
She loved Crumbl cookies, Starbucks runs, and Boba tea. She especially enjoyed traveling out west to warm places and soaking up the sunshine. Caroline was always up for an adventure—whether it was visiting the Grand Canyon, exploring New York City, riding every ride at Disney World, Islands of Adventure, and Dollywood, or spending time with her sisters at Liberty University.
She created endless memories with her Mom and Dad who loved her so deeply, from volleyball tournaments to going on adventures all over the country. Caroline also had amazing times with her sisters Emily and Allison like filming silly music videos and singing in the car. She deeply loved her brothers-in-law, Austin and Seth, shared a special bond with her grandparents, Teresa and Dave, and was treasured by her extended family.
But ultimately, Caroline loved her family for more than just the things they did together. She knew that her parents loved her unconditionally, and she carried that confidence with her everywhere she went. Even though there was an almost decade long age gap between her sisters, there was an immense bond and affection between the three of them. She fit right in and had great role models in Emily and Allison. People said she was blessed to have not just one but three moms with how much her sisters loved her.
She had a deep love for music and enjoyed watching The Voice with her family. She also loved playing Just Dance and was always the unofficial family photographer, capturing every moment with care and creativity.
Caroline had a deep and tender love for her dogs, Rosie and Indy. They weren’t just pets—they were her babies. She cared for them with so much affection, always doting on them and making sure they felt loved and included. They brought her comfort, joy, and companionship every single day.
She was passionate about health and fitness, holding to a rigorous daily workout routine and often encouraging her family to live healthy too. She was becoming an excellent driver and everyone was so proud of how far she had come. Caroline also had a servant’s heart—she loved volunteering in the nursery at church and giving her time with her father at There’s Hope for the Hungry.
Most importantly, Caroline loved the Lord with all her heart. At the age of 8, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Vacation Bible School. She was a true believer in Jesus, finding joy in going to church and serving others. Her family takes great comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, fully whole and perfectly at peace.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 2:00 p.m., both at First Redeemer Church, 2100 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA.
The family kindly invites guests to dress brightly and wear colors that celebrate Caroline’s vibrant spirit and love. Her favorite color was blue.
