Ronald D. Poland, Sr., 58, of Gainesville, GA passed away on August 8, 2012.

Ronnie was born in Cincinnati, OH. He worked with Poland Construction and was a late model stock car enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Poland of Gainesville, GA; son, Ronald Poland, Jr. of Gainesville, GA; daughter, Amanda Poland of Gainesville, GA; son, Chad Michael Poland of Flowery Branch, GA; parents, Henry and Wanda Poland; brothers, Johnny and Gary Poland; sister, Patricia Herbert; grandchildren, Taylor, Katelyn, Aiden, Braeden, Meeka, Rylan; many nieces and nephews, and other beloved family members and in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the Chapel of McDonald & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Phillip Martin will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home on Saturday, August 11, 2012.
